Helen...Thanks girls :) means a lot from you both!

Helen, I think the problem was I got my lovly hubby to tape me up & it was rather tight... I did try taping them up after but, it just wasnt working. I will try again though after reading your tips - thanks for that :)

They would of been to big, I cheated a little bit. After Id cut them off and blanket stitched the cut edge (with silk for decoration) I put them in the washing machine on the shortest wash and it shrunk them down nicely. I had to stretch them over my polystyrene lasts, left them to dry on there for a couple of days and they are great now, really thick & sturdy :)
xxFeltersJourneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12144951816128798093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733144082304387946.post-39473522118798264192010-10-06T18:32:01.706+01:002010-10-06T18:32:01.706+01:00I'm curious why the duct tape lasts didn't...I'm curious why the duct tape lasts didn't work for you? Mine are as high as my knee! You do have to cut them off to get out but you just tape over that and you should be good to go. I have some tips for this at http://www.deeplyfelt.com/2010/02/let-me-pointer-you-in-right-direction.html I've not tried the boot idea because it seems to me that the finished felt would be too big for me.... how did you avoid that? I'd love to know.Helen + ilana = Hihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16416440003661972174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733144082304387946.post-65155028898355014102010-10-06T18:21:49.018+01:002010-10-06T18:21:49.018+01:00Nice colour and lovely form!Nice colour and lovely form!Helen + ilana = Hihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16416440003661972174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733144082304387946.post-42342714389774717852010-10-06T17:55:48.108+01:002010-10-06T17:55:48.108+01:00These are GORGEOUS!!
