My cuddly red Indian elephant tea pot cosy :) |
As with all my cosies, she was worked HARD and shrunk as far as she would go.
Blocked and left to dry. I'd already filled her trunk with wool fibre to give it some plumpness |
This Nellie is going to have to stay! :) I've put her in my shop as a made to order though.. and I've just had a request for a pair made into door stoppers :) |
The silk worked beautifully for the head-dress and blanket |
As you can see, Nelliephant was born on a week that I was completely fixated by RED |
She's SO cute!! I love the Indian connection...so
ReplyDeleteclever!!
...and WOW! You sure are in a bright mood lately!

Perfect combination of colours and fabric! There's nothing like a good thick tea cosey to keep the tea hot...love it! Thanks for the play by play!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerry :) I need to work on some tiny cosies for my one-cup herbal teas now

ReplyDeleteSo petty elephant. Beautiful red color and Indian style. Thanks for your comment on my posts. Wile you're reading it, I was also reading your posts of leather soles stitching tips as I just made one pair of nuno felt slippers. Your tutorials are great. Thanks for sharing..
