Sharing a new find

I just came across this AMAZING video on Pinterest!  It's a documentary about felt / felting by Judit Pocs and is wonderfully inspirational!

The video covers the journey from sheeps back, through cleaning, dyeing, carding and then steps into Judit's studio.. and this is the real treat!  You get to watch her creative process through several different projects; a FABULOUS Noah's Ark rug, nuno scarf, hats, and sculptural critter.. it is such a lovely glimpse into a wonderfully artistic mind.  With lovely music and animation throughout.

It lasts about half an hour, so go make a cup of tea and enjoy :)

I must keep my ear to the ground for upcoming workshops :)

This was an amazing video - thank you so much. I suspect even nonfelters could find great joy in watching it!

Hi Anne, I agree.. I think it is lovely.
Watched it again last night with my husband who doesn't felt (though he's seen me doing it often enough lol) and he enjoyed it too :)

I'm glad you all enjoyed the video :) It's the nicest felt related video I have seen. I'd love to do a workshop with Judit..

Karolina the video is online.. if you follow the link it should take you there. 'On gentle threads' is the link in my post, this is the title of the video. I don't think it was on youtube but am not certain.

Hi Deborah, I feel the need to thank you for publishing all the useful and enjoyable information on your blog. I am relatively new to felting and you have been an inspiration to me for your fun attitude and generosity. The result of my efforts are 'wooppers'. Perhaps you can have a look at my facebook page. Any comment or advise from you I will accept with much interest and respect. Thank you again, Chryssa

You are more than welcome Chryssa! Thank you for your lovely message :)

I had a look at your Wooppers on facebook.. they are lovely! Beautiful colour choices and your little sew-in labels are a really good idea to help build your brand. Best of luck with them, I would imagine that they will be very popular!
